This was the inspiration behind the movie Gumnaam. Though it was made Bollywood-ish.
And the book is my all time favourite. No.1 in my recommendation of books.

Saw first episode. Looks good. Reviews indicate that it does not follow the book. I have not read the book so does not concern me.

Ah, its a 3-part mini series. So, I guess will try to catch it over the long weekend...

just finished this. pretty good. though got annoying in parts. ending was kind of a surprise. i have no checked if the actual killer is the same as in the book. but the series did a good job making you change your guess from one individual to another. i was pretty close but missed the obvious clue thinking it to be a production thing while it was not. anyhow. good time to spend 3 hours on a lazy day.

First Episode pretty much followed the book. I am guessing the twists are from later episode? Sam Neill (Jurassic Park fame) was the only known face to me...

Except very minor dramatizations, 2nd one followed the book as well.... Where did you hear it was different.
