Looks like JIO prime is now compulsory.

As in JIO app - the number where had not done any recharge - if i try to recharge then, its NOT allowing me to UNTICK the "Jio prime"

According to me these plans are 99% authentic but my point is that they are very unfair to people who got the prime membership because non prime members have to pay less than what we did. Good for their new customers but bad for their loyal customers.

Here is tge difference, It's only first time recharge offer. so after 84 days Non prime user will get like 2.5GB (something like this) data per 2i days will prime will enjoy 1GB/day per 28 days

Ok so validity is 84 days. So 40Rs extra per month for non-prime is wrong - its per 84days

prime = 99Rs one time then 309 every 84days.
non-prime = 349 every 84days

Benefits look same!

So for non-prime you have to pay about 60Rs extra in 11 months.

You are wrong it's only one time offer (Actually first time recharge offer). After 84 days Prime user will get 1GB/day or 2GB/day (for 28 days) by paying 303 or 499 respectively. whileNon prime will get only 2.5GB or 5.5 GB (something like this ) per 28 days

Imagine a user who has done multiple recharge of 303.....Lol...They must be feeling so cheated.....303 28 days validity vs 309 3 months validity...

It's one time offer (First time recharge) after that 28 days period per recharge.Nonprime will not get 1GB/day or 2GB/day after 84days.

I think jio does not really want to end the free stuff.
Now i doubt at the end of SSO and DDD, they might again come up with some fancy name and provide free stuff again at nominal rate.

Jio is just trying to have subscriber base....
even with nominal charges (around Rs200 PM) if they have 200 million customers
They are almost matching the revenue of AIRTEL...

Plus once they have the required numbers. they may not provide JIO APPs free on lower plans like 149, 309...only 400+ plans to increase the ARPU further

I think I will never throw my Jio sim. I am now waiting for Monsoon and Winter free offers along with offers for Independence day, Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas :winkytongue:

I just confirmed what Nishant was saying that prime members will get 4 months free in summer surprise offer those recharged with 303 or 499 . Thats just unreal. I am amazed.I mean I know they are just giving freebies to attract customers but it also shows the profit margins which Giants like Airtel, Idea , Vodafone were earning before all this.
