i do not see ibf posts in new posts list after ignoring. just checked!

a lot of people have been asking for ignore sections on xenforo community. so that one can completely ignore sections they are not interested in like deals, movies etc. developers have not shown much interest in that demand yet.

would check on xenforo community on why ignored members posts are bumping up threads in new posts section. logically that should not be happening.

logically you can just focus on two links... watched threads and watched forums.

@Sushubh sometimes when I click "new posts" there are some threads not listed which have new posts in them, but they are shown in the "alerts" drop down only.

This is not a new issue, have noticed it for a LONG time so probably well before any forum software migrations you have done. Xenforo issue?

I have also experienced similar posts but this could be due to the privacy profile of the member posting the reply. You get alert because you have subscribed to the thread but otherwise such replies are not listed in the recent activity/ posts.

for watched items i rely on the alerts popup. i am also interested in new threads or threads which i have not watched coz dont want to miss out on the action, hence i click "new posts" everytime i visit here.

No I have not subscribed to those threads which get included in "new posts" results when ignored member makes a post. So something is not completely right. Minor thing though.
