@coolsam07, Person who install jio ONT are hardware person. There knowledge is limited to regular installation only. You talk to technical person who is at server end. For that ask installation person to give name and contact of person who is at server end. Have word with them and ask them to disable DHCP at server end, as you want ONT as modem not router. (because you have your own router wherein you have functionality like VPN, DDNS and your own firewall.) Once DHCP is disabled from server end of your ONT connection, you can configure to Bridge Mode thus you doesn't have Double NAT enviorment.

Jio ONT can be configured in Bridge mode. For this to happen, you need to request JIO technical person to disable DHCP from their end so that you can set JIO ONT in Bridge mode.( to avoid double NAT environment) My JIO ONT is in Bridge mode and working fine with my Asus router but I am not able to make dial up connection. (PPoE connection). It works in Automatic ip. Because of this, I cannot have DDNS on Asus Router. Hence i can't avail feature like VPN, AiCloud and Download Master.

which number did you call mate ?

Umm...he said call the installation guy and ask for the number of a technical person at the server end

@rahul811 and @Amrish Rupani

Were you able to resolve the issue? Another problem with Jio modems is bandwidth limiting. There is an option to restrict bandwidth called Band Width Profiles, e.g., 20 Mbps for a particular port so as to save ourselves from losing data (the problem we are all suffering with high speed plans) but I am unable to find an option to specify that profile to the port.

Don't we have an option in the modem? I was wondering why do we have to contact the technician for that?
