@varkey
I didn't clone any MAC. All was in stock.
Reading your post, I thought why didn't I read the logs and went on following Pothi's instructions.
Couldn't configure pppd on Linux(That might be the reason for timeout).

Tried windows, errored out.
I'm living on a 0 mobile radion zone.

So each time an error is occured I need to reset everything back to normal to search about the error:D
I may have to enable CHAP in dialling.
Will check the case with windows tomorrow.

Default TP-Link firmware may not support it though.
Archer C1200 doesn't support OpenWRT:( and I have repurposed old pfsense box.
Your suggestions for an OpenWRT supported router seemed expensive for me.
So I've ordered Mi router 3g(The one with usb 3.0) from China and currently waiting for it's arrival.

I think the Archer C6/A6 has OpenWRT support, it might be just specific versions though. But at 2.5k or so it's a pretty decent device.

How much is the Mi router?
I got it for 3.2k after applying some coupons on AliExpress. Still on the way.

IIRC it has only 2 LAN ports.
The only downside is 2 LAN ports. In my case, I will connect it to the Great Indian Sale 5 port switch and use.
880Mhz dual core cpu, 256Mb ram, 128Mb rom, usb 3.0. Rest of the specs are amazing.

I didn't notice c6 had openwrt support. So it is also a good cadidate👌

Yes ,It has great specs for it's price.
I'm saving up money to get into enterprise gear. I'm little confused in choosing whether to go with Mikrotik or ubnt.
I like the performance and UI of ubnt but it's noticeably expensive than mikrotik.
Mikrotik is great VFM but I've heard it's quite hard to setup and run.
