Reliance Jio Wi-Fi Calling (VoWiFi) launched officially

@Ak5877 No. I have written something else. Read it again.

If I loose 2G/4G, My Jio WiFi stops working.

Internet is pretty stable because it's either JioFiber or Airtel (No Disconnection / No Packet Loss)

I can also confirm one thing, it wasn't the case when it was launched (first day).

@ak588 @Joy confirm if you can replicate same on Airtel?

You go outside, Jio is showing, WiFi is connected. Network changes to Jio WiFi.

You come inside. As soon as Jio (normal) is out of range, Jio WiFi stops working and goes to NO SERVICE.

@gomfi Yes i think my vowifi keeps working as my location does not change. In your case location is also changing.

i can,t do it as here inside signal is also good.

Location is like 20-30 meters change.

I cannot stand on road. I have to come in my room.

I am actually not able to understand, What is WiFi Calling here then?

I gave the authentication that "Yes, Dude, I am in Delhi, I am connected to this tower". Now WiFI Calling should work for at-least hours if not days.

But it disconnects within 1-5 minutes.

@gomfi i tried to move 20m with phone in airplane mode.Airtel wifi works as long as i am in good range from the router.Same with Jio with 2G only mode Vowifi was active as long as i was in range from my router.

@gomfi Try This
When you get Jio wifi outside at that moment turn on airplane mode without disconnecting wifi and then go back home.I guess Jio wifi will be active.

I will test this out. I actually want this to work in a manner it should be where as soon as we are connected to WiFi (of course before validating that we are in India only), it should give preference to WiFi and not Mobility.

Because, for old people turning on and off Airplane is a very troublesome. And not just them but for anyone of us who might forget to turn it off (Flight Mode)

@gomfi Yes.It should even work without network as they are already collecting our location data through Gps.

Jio VoWiFi works for me Even if I move to place where theres no Signal. But it doesn't Connect back if I turn off WiFi and turn it back on in No signal
