Excitel Broadband User Experience in Gurgaon

Not locked by Excitel but lco itself.

750 ONU is available based on the call I just got from my local linesman.
Paid for the 4999 plan. Paid for the ONU. Would update.

@igloo what more options we all have, so we have to believe what an lco say. Rest no third parties onu are supported by excitel as most of their olts are locked and mac id of onu is to be whitelisted which is done by excitel. Plus onu serial number has to be entered on excitel pro care portal which is also done from excitel back end, no lco can manually feed that serial number

Not sure about other regions, but in Bangalore, I was able to swap the provided ONT with another without even cloning the serial number. The original ONT serial does show up on the Excitel portal, however no cloning was necessary.

I simply plugged in a Huawei ONT and everything worked without any issues. It was in bridge mode, so there wasn't even a config change required.

Onu has been installed. Tiny. Bright lights. Optilink op-xont-71000 something.

My excitel has closed upgrade ticket. Plan shows 100mbps local guy said speed update happens in 2 days. Hopefully won't get stuck on 100mbps for next 10 months

I also have got the same optilink onu(₹750) for my excitel fiber plan.
I am still getting 100mbps speed while connection was upgraded yesterday morning.
Have got to know from some excitel guys that this onu is not capable of giving 300mbps speed while others deny this.
Not sure what to do as I have just purchased gigabit router TP-Link archer c6 1200 as well for this.

Check the cable connecting ONT and Router. Maybe try changing it
