Hi guys i have taken 1 gbps plan recently. but when i try downloading any torrent with more than 2000 seeders even then also the max download speed i get is 50 mbps which 5% of the given speed. why is this happening also is there any way to bypass it. I am already using bridging through my TP-Link c80 router.

Depends upon so many factors including the speed of your SSD and your wired connection. I got full speeds.

Try with a VPN and see if there is a difference.

Number of seeders don't matter. The quality of the seeders (their network speeds) does. For example if the seeders are majority seedboxes in Europe (with good routing) and there aren't many leechers, you'll get good speeds.

If the seeders are majority home broadband in Brazil (with poor routing to India) and tons of people are leeching then you'll get bad speeds.

Have you tried Ubuntu ISO torrent or any private torrent?

Also, Airtel provides public IP, do a port forward for your torrent client.

have a 1tb nvme so that's not a issue. dont want to use vpn as most the servers also max out at 200mbps. if there is better do suggest will try.

i know seeder quality matters but it's not just one torrent i am talking. whether i do multiple torrent or single torrent all total speed maxes out @50mbps.
can you share the steps for port forward for torrent client

Airtel doesn't throttle torrents, I'm on a 100Mbps plan and can easily get 88-90 Mbps on private trackers.
