Is act still giving power discount every month. I recharged my account for 12+2 Months in Feb 2020 and got the discount amount for 14 months in Jan 2020. My Plan ends on march 30. I asked for power discount and they gave 59 rs for one month and closed the ticket after that I reopened the ticket 10 times but they are saying they will give the discount but closing the complaint.
 
AFAIK, Discount is not prepaid. You need to raise a ticket for every 3/6 months for electricity discount.
 
I am saying that I recharged my account for 12+2 months in Nov 2018 and they installed the box. I got the discount for those 14 months in Jan 2020 and I again recharged for 12+2 in Feb 2020 now 14 Months are getting completed and act is not giving discount after repeated tickets raised.
They gave only 1 month discount so I want to know do we have to raise request every month from some one who has box installed.
 
I can not disconnect power as 2 of my tenants are using same box whom I suggested/refereed to ACT.
In normal times I would have stopped the next recharge and ask them for discount amount and then make payment
But If they disconnect the net it will be a problem for online classes so I am confused what to do.
 
Although this is not advised , but can be you last option . Get hold of the supervisor for your area on a call . Tell him that you have influenced the neighbors and advertised ACT . Non payment of charges will lead to disconnection of 3 connections(the same way they threaten you to pay bills) . Worth a try. Tell him you will get Airtel/any other ISP in your area and you will also make sure that you will change all the connections in your building
 
I had the exactly same problem a year ago. Every month I had to contact customer care for power bill discount. But at some point I didn't remember exactly when, they told me that technician will visit your premise to change your connection to port 1 now it is on port 3. So that every month when bill gets generated automatically power discount will be added to that bill . He came after few hours later he changed the port and voila .
 
I already Spoke to their TL on Call and he said he will give the discount in 3 hours then nothing. My tenants are in their 2nd and 4th months so I cant say that I can make them disconnect the service. But I said that if they didnt give by the end of the month I will remove their box from my premises.
 
Mine is also in port number 1. Because in Jan 2020 when they gave the discount their technician came to verify and It was in 1st port.
Are you getting discount every month. How to ask them to do that.

Billing department does not work on Sundays. That was lie.
