I have also started facing this issue it latches automatically onto band 40 directly that work around used to work about a week or two back it doesn’t work right now.
Where have they deployed b40C I am not getting it in Rajasthan circle maybe yours must be band 40-40A?
I cannot confirm this personally as my location doesn't have any b40 coverage, also there is a lockdown going now here .but several people have confirmed that they are getting 2ca b40 + b40 , with jio now, jio spokesperson also confirmed that they have deployed b40 spectrum here in kerala at some 12000 sites according to a news report
, Mine is still the same 2ca with b5+b3 both on 5 mhz each

@Lucifer96 Still i have 38900 one with 10 mhz. God knows when they will upgrade here. Also dual b5 Carriers are available here. B3 no changes too. Also i seen a news that jio deployed 20 mhz in Kerala. God knows what was it. 
Idk about the difference between 40C and 40A but yeah I am getting 2300+2300 20+20mhz which is recently being enabled.

Maybe they are deploying it distirct by district, some are also getting b40 20+ 10mhz like you, but it doesn't matter whether it's 20 or 10 as far as jio is concerned you can expect some mild improvement as most of the phones will be latching to b40+ b40@Lucifer96 Still i have 38900 one with 10 mhz. You can expect some increased speeds if they properly deploy 3ca or 2ca with b3+b40 20 mhz I think .
Its only B3 i guess, sadly no B8!!! and airtel has not brought any spectrum in B40. any Idea why only 5mhz on B3 and not the entire 15mhz?
