Have been looking for a good alternative to Google WorkSpace. But there are not many good options especially considering you get the Gmail interface and connected Google services. Primary need is storage requirement above 15GB for some users. I think one of the user is closing in on 30GB Inbox? So the plan is to look for a possible alternative that gives more than 50GB inbox storage. Not many options available in the market it seems.

Here are some pricing information as of today.

Google WorkSpace
30GB: Rs. 210 per month (Rs. 125/month for first year)
2TB : Rs. 840 per month (Rs. 672/month for the first year)
5TB: Rs. 1260 per month

Microsoft 365
They do not seem to offer above 50GB storage space for email. Price range from Rs. 125/month to Rs. 1440/month.

Amazon WorkMail
No Indian pricing. 50GB email inbox for USD 4 per month.

Rackspace Email
25GB for USD 2.99 and above. No higher storage option.

Zoho
Not a fan of this company but they are a pretty solid low cost option.
5GB: Rs. 59/month
10GB: Rs. 75/month
50GB: Rs. 199/month

GoDaddy
Best to stay away. They have discounts running right now but this is regular pricing.
10GB: USD 5/month
25GB: USD 6/month

Hover
I accidentally landed there. I used them for domains few years ago and always liked their no-nonsense approach. They have a pretty solid email plan.
10GB: USD 20/YEAR
1TB: USD 29/YEAR

Hey for Domains
100GB storage for USD 12 per month. No IMAP/POP Support.

ProtonMail for Business
5GB for Euro 8 per month.

Fastmail
30GB for USD 5 and 100GB for USD 9 per month.

Alibaba Mail
100GB for USD 4 and 1TB for USD 5. Though they say starting from on their pricing page.

IceWarp
USD 1.5 per user per month. 200GB storage for 10 accounts. 1TB cloud storage also included.

Do mention if you know of any other alternatives in this field. Requirement is quite basic in the end. 5-10 users at max. Google WorkSpace does make the most sense here as I would not need to migrate data and it is indeed quite cost effective. Hover is quite interesting though it requires the domain to be hosted with them and their prices are higher than Cloudflare and others. Plus their webmail panel does not have a demo. They do have a few screenshots and it does not look terrible. But it's likely not as advance as Protonmail or Fastmail.

Would be interesting if Cloudflare enters this segment. They are testing waters with basic email forwarding right now. I imagine next would be an alternative to Amazon SES. Following by a proper Email product? Remains to be seen.

Ovh ugh. They are awful with spam reports. Plus too pricey compared to Google Workspace it seems.

11 pounds per month for 300GB. Comes to around 1128 rupees.

Zoho support is rubbish and their download/upload speeds are too slow.
IMO, migrate to O365. Their spam protection has gone up and step is very easy. If you setup DMARC, DKIM and SFP correctly, you don't need to worry about phishing as well. Also, you don't just get email hosting, you are paying for whole lot of things.

They don't offer more than 50GB it seems. At least on small accounts. Don't want to move out again in a year or two.

I am using zoho free plan and so far happy about it, but it does miss some features. so looking for alternative... confused between zoho paid vs namecheap plans..

Anyone has experience in namecheap email solution?

You will have two options. Either assign that particular user with Exchange Online Plan 2 which will give 100 GB or Enable Archiving.
