Excitel Fiber Broadband Experience in Delhi NCR

It's been around a month joined Excitel, was charged 2000 for 3 months plan + 500 Installation Charges + 2000 for Router (some PPC Brand ONU). Installation was done with a very thin white fibre cable, even the splicing joint was put in in plastic tube instead of a proper box.

Was I overcharged? Actually no other better ISP is available in my area.
I've heard that Airtel provides 100Mbps with calling @2829 for 3months with no extra charges, Unfortunately not feasible in my area.

Didn't faced any downtime yet and the speeds are symmetric and consistent around 110+ Mbps.

Can anyone help to disable the "www.excitel.com" SSID?
Password 11223344 is also not working for it.

No help from here...

The SSID2 is not even visible anywhere on router page.

Aren't the router charges refundable? Cant you exchange it for the 1000 Rs one without wifi and use your own router.

@manu1991 The charges are refundable but they don't downgrade easily, their customer care straight away refuses for downgrade. I faced a lot of trouble for downgrade and the amount was refunded after 90 days I guess. Their customer care has become pathetic, instead of solving problems, they just give stereotype replies or argues with customer. One of mine simple ticket is still pending since three months and they have posted multiple times on ticket that we tried to call you but call went unanswered. The fact is, they are doing this without calling me.

"There are no hidden charges other than the Plan charges + One time Installation charges. After the first month, the monthly rental for the chosen plan is applicable for internet service delivery." - Excitel website FAQ for additional charges.

When I shifted to Excitel fibre, around 2 years back.... I paid 500 security for ONU + plan charges..... no installation charges were paid... though Excitel guy and LCO said usually they charge....
