You left the most important thing tho. What about the post FUP speed. Is the 1mbps claim true? Or is it 256kbps in real? I know with 50mbps, 25gb will be consumed in no time, so it's the post FUP speed that counts. And not just speed, please tell me about the reliability and uptime.

Post FUP 1Mbps. That's why leaving Hathway. After 50mbps ends it is pain to browse on 1mbps.

Now with Airtel 8Mbps True Unlimited plan with No FUP[emoji1]

Retention plan, no? With static IP? I got offered a similar one. How long are they offering it to to you for? 3 months or more?

Another Hathway Delhi user here on the same plan; I recently exhausted my quota (within 10 days :p) and I'm getting steady 1Mbps symmetrically. It is a pain after a glorious period of 50Mbps/(3Mbps UL), but I'm not thinking of going back to Airtel anytime soon. Hathway's speeds are fine. My only issue is random logouts/disconnections which I need to get fixed.

Its a retention plan with Static IP and its true unlimited. There is no time limit. It is permanent.

Yeah, that's the one. I got quoted around 1100-1300 (8xx rental + 4xx for static IP) rental IIRC. Tempting, but I've taken a quarterly plan from Hathway so I can only think about it seriously after 2 more months. Did Hathway throw any of their retention plans your way (in case you cancelled)?

No. They did not cared at all. They readily agreed to disconnect it. It will be disconnected by 25th July.

Anyways I don't expect anything from their crappy customer care.

It is better to browse on 4Mbps constant speed than on 1 mbps.

speaking of tv cable, is it overhead cable or underground? airtel refused to give me connection because they cant bring underground cable to my home.
