India, Australia Seal Nuclear Deal; PM Abbott gifts Nehru Jacket to PM Modi

Ignore jacket part, but I think getting Nuclear deal done with Australia is good achievement. Previously Australia had refused for Nuclear deal with India I think.

Nuclear deal would be good if it actually helps India.

I am asking because I am yet to know what India got by signing nuclear deal with USA few years back?

Where is that 25000 MW??? Or atleast 5000 MW in 2014?

Umm, its not about wikipedia.

Its about - did deal help India?

If yes, why do still have power cuts? What / where exactly it is used?

If NO - what is Modi government doing? Why sign a new deal? Why not take action to implement USA deal?
