1Gbps Plan in LCO City

So I switched to 1gbps plan through 121 in a no LCO operated city. The maximum download speed I am getting over wifi is 391mbps, and upload is 270-280mbps. Is that pretty much you get in 1gbps airtel connection over wifi? Or it is less? I wanted to do a LAN test as well but my laptop has only 100mbps ethernet port.

Also is there any chance that I get close to 1gbps speed if I use LAN?

Thats wifi limitation.
via gbps port 800mbps+ is easily achievable.

Test it with lan or buy gigabit usb connector for usb to ethernet .
For wifi you need to test with MU-Mimo enabled client like iPhone etc.

Most 1200mbps ac routers gives at best 500mbps speeds on wifi. Not greater than that .
Do you mind asking me , what do you need 1gbps for ? (extra speed is good for sure if your employer is paying for it )
