well the sim card i got had no validity. i got it directly from the airtel honchos. the sims sold in the market comes with lifetime validity by default. i paid no money to the airtel dude who delivered it to my place so i assume it was not really activated on their backend.

I don't think so, but it can be confirmed by CC or anyone getting new sim check it *123# before recharging

when i took the brand new sim to the airtel store, the rep told me that my sim had no validity so i would have to get some pack for the lifetime validity enabling. she was surprised because she said that all sims that are sold in the market already come with lifetime validity. so i thought the sim i had was not mmm validated from the airtel's backened when it was delivered to me.

tariff validty check code is *124#

But it doesn't works, so contact customer care.

They will also say *124# but since it doesn't work, they will tell you tariff validity date.

The tariff validity on your Airtel Prepaid is May 07 2011. To know your prepaid calling rates kindly send TRF as sms to 51619 tollfree.
