2.1 Desktop Speakers | Bluetooth - Under 20k

I want to buy some decent desktop speakers with Bluetooth connectivity options.

Currently I have an ancient Philips 2.1 system, and one of the satellite speaker has stopped working. If it hadn't died, I would still be willing to use it.

Looking for something that won't take a lot of space, can be put on desktop or wall mounted. When I am at it, might as well consider something that will save me from the wire menace.

Budget? Under 20k.

@Nishant how's the bass? i have a Sony D40 and it has a lot of bass due to which the vocals are absolutely pathetic. I am also using the 1000XM3 headphones and i find bass a little more to my liking. Can you throw more light on the sound signature?

I see that the Sony D40 is a 4.1 channel sound system with no center speakers. So there would be a definite issue in dialogue clarity.

S40R, being a 5.1 channel system has a dedicated centre speaker. The bass is perfect for my liking. Best is to go to an offline store like Croma / Vijay Sales and check out a demo.

This my floor plan. Currently using built in speakers which are crap.

Will S40R be effective in this floor plan?

@mikrotik Doesn’t seem like an ideal setup but should work. You’ll have to test and try the rear speaker position.

Yup. Should work just fine. As Jonas said, make sure you position the rear speakers properly i.e. it should not be too high or otherwise you won't feel the surround effect. This is the mistake I did and I can't feel the optimal surround effect unless I am standing. Yet to fix this.

What is the optimum height for the rear speakers? Also, won't they be too close? I mean the sofa is against the wall.

It should be just slightly above yours ears while sitting.

so I got the zebronics 9750 pro but when I tried HDMI output through my RTX 3060 ti it wasnt getting detected in my pc
is it due to e-arc port on the soundbar? and also is there any bypass?

also, I am not able to configure the speakers in optical mode to 5.1 and it doesn't seem to be getting 5.1 output
