2GB GPRS plan on 2G; How to get the GPRS Balance information

I am a subscriber of vodafone 2G on 2GB/month plan on prepaid from Andhra Pradesh. I would like to know the gprs balance info on this. I could not get even one useful trick from the net, though there were many tricks mentioned all over.

Pls suggest..

Can this plan be applied to Postpaid & Data balance be checked as well?
