3 new channels added on Tata Sky DTH

At least Tata Sky are adding new channels and thats good to see. Hopefully this is the start of things to come. I'm sure people will change thier opinion about tatasky once they start getting more and more international channels on their platform.

I am going to hate them and Zee DTH and CAS and my cable guy till the time I get the option to choose the channels I want and pay for them.

IPTV now has 150 channels. 300Rs/month (excluding tax). but we need more reviews.

The new channels can't be replacement for the mainstream channels. They are miscellaeneous channels and have very limited viewership. Instead Tata's should try to focus more on Music Channels & Sports, where it is lacking.

There isn't a list of channels pending approval unfortunately.
BBC Entertainment and CBeebies appeared on the list some days back.

I saw ABC Asia Pacific. Maybe Tata Sky should get that channel.Also... why isin't BBC Entertainment available throughout the day? Why only after 6 PM and till 6 AM?

BBC entertainment & CBeebies are telecasted for 12 hours only in UK too

They added IndiaTv also today... Wht's wrong with them... They r adding useless channels...

Getting news channels on the platform is not a big issue as most of them are free . Getting a pay channel or a foreign one however involves additional things and getting the required clearances takes time. On a positive note , at least they have started to add channels.

We have enough of useless music channels all showing the same thing. They should in fact get these international channels even if it means limited viewership
