3D LED TV for around Rs. 50K

Talking about Sony, I purchased Sony Bravia 40" LED 2 years back for ₹ 65000. Today, it is going to be thrashed because it's panel become faulty and repairing will cost me ₹ 25000. Sony can do nothing as it's out of warranty . There isn't any 2nd level of escalation in the entire organization. Only call centre and one email ID. This is how Sony works.

That's how every company works. Samsung/LG/Philips are also not going to be bothered to repair your TV after warranty has elapsed.

Nope even if it would be in warranty, I am sure panel wouldn't have been covered into it.

As far as I know panel should be within cover of extended warranty...
One of my friend has got a 26 inch Sony and it got a fault after 1.4 yrs(it was not covered in extended warranty) so sony replaced the panel within a cost 1200/-..(twelve hundred).. I didn't believe him first so I asked him to show me the repair invoice and Rs.1200/- was mentioned as transportation charge+service cost.

3D gives a headache specially the conversion one !
Found Sony to be little better than Samsung, cant recollect the model didn't like it much

It cost only Rs 1200 for entire 27 inch panel and that too outside warranty without extended warranty. Are you sure?
