i considered such a classification on delhi ncr forum. but turns out it makes the forum structure too complicated. i had personally prefer users mentioning their city names in the thread titles itself. as for mtnl, it is easily understood that the thread is only relevant to delhi and mumbai cities.of course, most of us already mention our city names in the left column.

yes admin... that's why I said its too complicated... i have seen other forums doing that model... but its a failing bcz u need constant monitoring with right information....

the current structure works well. i end up editing a lot of thread titles to make them a bit more useful to the other members of the forum. my only problem was that we have a beam fanboy on this forum who is participating in random threads totally irrelevant to his beam or hyderabad. this is like a swedish user coming here and mocking us all for living in india.

Although I do not like the speed offerred in these plans but these could be very helpful for people who have time based plans but often complain about high usage due to their negligence or some MTNL goof up. Usually these kind of people are elderly and do not know the technicalites of tracking the usage.

@ijsa ; absolutely right and I hope after airtel's aggressive plans , MTNL will introduce some mouthwatering plans i.e. 2mbps unlimited without FUP @ 999 :D

I’m all for better plans. I’m curious, though: since when are Airtel’s plans aggressive?

airtel introduced some 2mbps and 4mbps unlimited plans with fup limit of 75gb and 150gb , which is very good for a normal downloading maniac person

but speed downgrade is still a problem, from 2mbps to 256Kbps
Exactly. Airtel’s 4 Mbps/150 GB is better than their old 4 Mbps/50 GB; it’s still neither sufficient nor anywhere near reasonable to cut off users to 256 Kbps after that.
