9. Choose between option to forward UDP, TCP or Both.
10. Enter The Range of ports to forward. keep it same for external and internal. Enter only one port or a range.
11. When done, get back to main menu and save the setting and reboot.
Option 2:
Are you using "DialUp" mode or "Always On " ? confirm or Try later mode.
Did you try directly that page ?

The telnet option seams to be working but tedious to work with (GUI apps has made us so lazy)... I was able to add a VNC port but yet to do end-to-end verification...

If it works... I owe you one... :-)

Regards,
-Deepak

PS. Can you direct me to some training materials...
I need to understand external vs internal ports...

Glad to note your PF problem solved.
If you could access via telnet Advanced set up, it means the GUI pages are also available !!!
Happy surfing.
Still I do not know how you connect to internet.
Wanminiport dialer or "alwayson " !!!!!.

i spoke to airtel senior technician... he agreed that firmware is corrupted... he said he will mail me another firmware which has GUI enabled...I cannot answer as most of the pages in router is not present... That i mean to say is... The menu frame is there, top (header) frame is there, but nothing gets loaded in the main (body) frame.... It gives INternet explorer error (webpage not found).... When I go to .1.1/html/index1.html I get a blank page... If I do view->source i see some tags but body tag is empty... I was also not able to find my IP address as pages were blocked / disabled... I had to go to external site which tells your IP...Internet works.... Hope I am clear...Thanks,-Deepak

members/ssiva20/Please confirm it is 440BX1 and not 450 BX1. Check Under management client tr_069 settings? Is it enabled ? disable it . What is the time entered. 136000 or 600 ? Post ADSL screenshot or give details of snr/attn/line speed and Mod selected. In DSL select only mod GDMT and see any improvement .Para two : How far is your laptop from the wireless router ?Re orient the antenna for better signal.
