5G calling not working on iPhone 14 and 15 models

I have the toggle Voice over 5G standalone enabled. But since 6 months, whenever I make or receive a call, 5G symbol changes to LTE. This causes disruption of internet connectivity and if I am watching TV or Cricket match, the connection resets and since 4G speeds are too low, it just stops streaming.

Previously, 5G calling used to work last year. From few months ago, it used to work flawlessly.

Issue persists in Mumbai circle. Voice over 5G Standalone doesn’t work on iPhone 14/15/16 models in Mumbai even after turning ON the toggle under Voice & Data in Settings -> Mobile Service

It always switches to LTE while making or receiving calls. Huge battery waster.

Had to call Customer Care and they enabled for my number from backend. Fixed.

Was it location specific coz it happens in my town and works on the next town in my android phone. Did they ask about location and stuff? Any details appreciated.

Unfortunately no it’s not fixed. Worked for few mins but now it’s again switching to LTE while making/receiving calls
