On the other hand, the Indian academia, led by IIT Madras director Bhasker Ramamurthy, advocated that 5Gi standards should be made mandatory for Indian telecom service providers.

IITians will be the death of this country. Time to shut all of them.

The only thing I understood is that every company involved is unhappy because IITians think they are supreme and that 5G implementation will be delayed.

Every country has build its own 5G standard, so why not India.
2nd thing, In every new technology there is some pros and cons.
5Gi has been specially designed according to the population of India.

India is now where America once was, completely confused. Some people want to do something big and another side some people will try their best to demotivate them. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

You will be surprise to know Vietnam like small countries build their own 5G standard and also commercially rollout.

The day when Indians get the idea that we too can do something, on that day no one will be able to stop India in technological development. :):)

I can't wait for the time I would wait images on twitter to load on India's version of 5G. Like I do on 4G right now.

I am already thinking how many data topups I would need on our 5g, given that one speed test should easily gobble up 1 gb data.

5G is a big joke. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
You can't get 1 Gbps. Average 4G speed is 100Mbps.
How many people get 100Mbps on 4G internet ? :D:D
Biggest disadvantage in 5G is that 5G service use High-frequency spectrum.
High-frequency spectrum means less coverage.
