A 32 inch Monitor

I want to by a 32 inch monitor, primarily to use it as a TV by using the HDMI input. Touch monitors aren't a compulsion.
Will be good if it has USB slots to directly view images and play a variety of video files too.
Suggestions?

You won't get a 32" monitor easily (Never saw anywhere). TV will be a better idea.

How much difference is there basically in a HD Ready and Full HD display? As in not the technical resolution but practical visual differences?

Just going to state the obvious here. Dell charges around Rs. 95000 for their 30inch 2560x1600 display here in the Indian market.

How far are you going to watch it from. If its more than 3-4 feet and considering the size, I'd say not a lot. Plus the cheapest full HD 32" with warranty is I think Toshiba 32PT200ZE which is ~28k so the difference I think is substantial.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have finalized and book the Sony Bravia KLV40BX420.40 inches, full HD display and a USB slot. Good enough for me. Booked*
