A fed up Airtel Broadband user...now with Reliance wireline broadband

Consistency is something rcom is not known for. Ask around in your neighbourhood.
I disagree with the above comment. For the last 4 years I have been using Reliance Broadband and I have had only 1 downtime for 15 mins during the Aila Storm. During all these years the speed has been very much consistent.
However I concur that it would be best to enquire the neighbourhood users for a more accurate idea of the Quality of Service that you can expect.

Hey guys need a little help here. Currently im with airtel max 30 GB ( 2mbps upto 30GB and 256kbps post that ). Im thinking of shifting to reliance broadband. Their night booster zoom 1 seems to be good ( day 1mbps, night 2mbps ). My question is, is reliance as consistence as airtel? The positive thing about airtel is that i haven't faced downtime at all and can reliance be that consistent? Be it speed, downtime whatever? And from when do i get speed of 2mbps ? ( time )
All of my friends are with airtel. Guess i'd have to stick with these guys for some more time until someone like beam or act comes down here.
Reliance is always a 2nd option. After got fuped by Airtel i took reliance and its 1+ yr over now. I faced max of 10 days downtime in that 1 yr usage. No FUP and im very much happy with Reliance wireline BB.
Night usage is from 10 pm to 8 am.

Check out my upload ratio. If im with Airtel then this ratio cant be happening. If all the ISP has fup then torrents would be a history.

I agree with u 100% on this , while I was a reliance broadband customer i would not face issues for months but boy when downtime would start I would have to bang my head with reliance employees to have the issue rectified ...

That is the problem here. Im not able to seed since im gonna lose my bandwidth. I'd have to wait till the last day or i'll seed when my bandwidth is over. And other thing is that im not able to download since i can't get the speeds that i'd like to get since i haven't seeded the previous torrents. Airtel's FUP and their ridiculous pricing is just killing me !

Get an rcom connection on the side, and see how it goes, that is if the sales guy ever gets back to you after collecting the money
