nope...i tried again. Everything was fine till i restart. Then it started showing yellow error symbol in network connection. So..no DNS for me it seems.

Can you post a screenshot along with the message if any which the network icon may be flashing?
Not working. When i shut down my pc and switch on back later the error appears.

P.S. This is my 1000th post in IBF.Thanks to admin for this amazing useful forum. If its not for Airtel FUP then i would never been a member of this forum and could've missed a lot. Thanks to Airtel too..

I am also fed up with the Airtel Broadband solely because of there Fair Usage Policy and considering getting a Reliance Broadband connection. There Freedom 999 Plan is really an intimidating plan.

I am from New Delhi (Central Delhi to be precise) and was hoping if anyone here can tell me how is the Speed, Customer Care, Downtime (if any) etc. in Reliance Broadband.

As of now, Reliance is giving away this plan exclusively to those who have access to their metro-ethernet network. During the earlier weeks of introducing this plan, any Reliance ADSL user could have subscribed for the plan. The speeds are consistent; customer care is shoddy and you might need to have some level of expertise to make certain things work (such as sharing the connection, using third-party DNS services with your reliance connection).

@neevarpThanks for the reply, I have applied for the connection via there website. Lets wait and see!

It has been four days now, no reply from the Reliance Broadband team whatsoever!p.s. I applied on 25th Feb via there website by filling the "Purchase Now" form.

Call Reliance customer care tell them date you applied for Broadband..... or any reference number you got.

I actually received a call from them yesterday, asking for my address and PIN code to check the availability/ feasibility.Quite surprisingly the guy told me that Freedom 999 plan is available via Metro Ethernet as well as router.UpdateReceived a call from the same guy, says that there is no availability in my area.Any other option for me guys? Apart from Airtel and now Reliance!

Try some wireless isp's like spectranet, reliance wimax etc.,

Spectranet is (also) not available in my area and WiMax is seriously too costly.I am left with MTNL, only!I am doomed :|

never go for Local ISP :(kskaran go for reliance WiMax 600Kbps plan

Hey guys need a little help here. Currently im with airtel max 30 GB ( 2mbps upto 30GB and 256kbps post that ). Im thinking of shifting to reliance broadband. Their night booster zoom 1 seems to be good ( day 1mbps, night 2mbps ). My question is, is reliance as consistence as airtel? The positive thing about airtel is that i haven't faced downtime at all and can reliance be that consistent? Be it speed, downtime whatever? And from when do i get speed of 2mbps ? ( time )
