I have no idea about soundbars, it's just that I want to buy one too next year so was just curious about your usage.

If you walk into any Reliance Digital or Croma, you will find many options. I had seen a LG about 2 years back for about 16 K. My father in law recently picked up a very budget one from Dubai - Sony, it supports iPhone/ipod dock, USB, SD Card, Digital Photo Frame (the bars lcd screen doubles as that), Clock, Radio and few other jack of all trades option.
I personally didnt like it much as its fidelity is obviously limited for the price, but the features are quite vast. Comes without a woofer, while the LG for 16K had a wireless woofer.
If you can stretch little bit, you should get the Bose Bluetooth Soundlink - http://www.amazon.com/Bose%C2%AE-SoundLink%C2%AE-Bluetooth-Mobile-Speaker/dp/B0090Z3SPU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369039961&sr=8-1&keywords=bose+bluetooth+speakers
This is a terrific speaker sysem and I had got it for my Father in Law from the US. The sound reproduction is awesome and will blow most soundbars away. Its design is for a portable speaker system but it can be used as a soundbar too...
