a modem wireless router combo for airtel

the piece of crap D-Link airtel gave me has a major issue. chromebook stops seeing it after it gets rebooted a few times. right now i am totally not able to get it to work. :\

no plans for the basement. no one in house is comfortable renting it out with the sole entry connected to the rest of the house. i am being thrown on the second floor which is the top of the house. so it is going to suck with summer season peak coming up. :\

I had a similar problem with Airtel router going out of view.

Someone on this forum advised to change the band and the trick worked.

right. one of the things airtel guy did was to change the setting from auto to 11.

hehe. well. that's true. the benefits however are much bigger. i would no longer have to travel to ground floor for the loo. arty: And I can now keep beer with me as I get an independent fridge. :rock::rock::rock::rock::rock:
