A service for telecom operator

HI Guys, I had an idea, its basically a service for telecom operator. The idea hasent been implemented anywhere in the world(searched on the net, couldnt find it). & if this service is implemented by the telecom operator, it would be very helpful for the consumer. I have already made the high level design of how it should be implemented. The next step is how do i go about selling my idea?Should i patent it? or should I to speak some bigshots of a telecom company(though this will be difficult do). I am looking for some professional guidance.Thanks

I cannot give a professional guidance... but if its a great idea which can change the telecom industry... .first patent it before approaching any operator... or else your idea is their idea..:rofl:
