Hey folks, I am creating this thread for Airtel Fiber customers for those who want to monitor and record their PPPoE uptime on monthly basis.
I have used BSNL FTTH, JioFibre, Excitel Fiber and now using Airtel Fiber for past 4 years, believe me or not, the best uptime is given by Airtel.
Jio renews its DHCP lease every 24 hours, sometimes it used to start blinking red resulting in downtime for about 5-10 minutes. Excitel had weird issue, it used to show "Lost Carrier" and PPPoE goes down for 3-5 minutes. BSNL also used to reset its PPPoE every 23h and 57minute and it used to go down in between as well.

After using almost all big players, I came to the decision of using Airtel and disconnect all other ISPs, so here I am, using Airtel only.

I have seen PPPoE being up on Airtel for more than 15 days, back then I had no power backup so internet used to go down during power cuts, but since 2 years I have reliable power backup that keeps the routers, switch and ONT up during power loss.

Currently I have PPPoE up for almost 4 days. I have also deployed Ripe Atlas sw probe on openwrt to monitor uptime and downtime both, I will be posting my monthly uptime and downtime(duration). PPPoE

I request you all to keep this thread alive by posting about your uptime tales on Airtel.

Good for you, here the stability has not been so great. My router uptime is 17d, so this should give a good outlook.
Time below is in UTC.

It is static IP or PPPoE?
Which Router?
19 times down in 17d ~ disconnects everyday.
is it possible for you to check for how much time it was disconnected each time?

is it static IP from airtel? Asking because static IP on airtel used to loose connectivity everyday for me.

airtel fiber pppoe for me was 90 days since i last checked.
jio fiber same ip was for around 60 days and then router was switched off and got new ip.

so both airtel and jio is solid stable for me. also i haven't notice dhcp refresh by jio ever 24 hours as claimed by you (its only in the case if you switch off your router for 30 minutes or 1 hour or more).

@Rickysin In my case, I get different IP address in JioFiber everyday. It happens only once in 24 hours. I can reboot the router multiple times but the IP address will remain same the whole day. Guess they do things a lot differently in some places. o.O
