If you allow an organisation to work without interfering, have able men who can work tirelessly, it will succeed. If the government wants to destroy it by showing it as a loss making entity, then nothing can save it.

A fun but sad fact, the success of Jio lies in the systematic destruction of MTNL, BSNL.

Don't want to politicise the thread but couldn't help commenting.
Peace ✌️.

@Anurag Bhatia Thank you. I wasn't aware you were active on this forum. Actually you helped me with the details of setting up RIPE on Twitter.

@Gokul Kannan Installing it today night. This would actually provide a lot of information. What interval would you suggest?

Please let me know what servers I should run speed tests to apart from Local Indian servers.
The default interval is 60 mins, I configured it to 30 mins on my deployment. I would suggest you run it with the default interval for a day and then adjust based on the graph. You can run speed tests to at least a server in the US, EU, and Asia region to check international speed.

@ps111193 Interesting Take. Working on a script to log speed. FYI currently on 50mbps 600GB plan and I do speed check daily. Consistently have got full speed this month. Not sure if this is a fluke.
It ain't a fluke I had one whole month of down time.. It was an error that was caused due to entry.. Took long time to fix.. And once it was fixed the uptime and speed have been consistent... We are going with a network upgradation process had some downtime due to re routing other than everything went perfectly fine

most of time i get download between 10-20Mbps and upload is above 50Mbps
That's really strange i heard that issue during lockdown when they decreased plan speeds.. If it's still giving those speeds, escalate the issue and find the bottleneck

currently getting normal speed but everyday their server fucked and for 1-2 hour they give full upload speed and 1-2Mbps download speed

@humblefool I think it cant be directly deployed on RPI as the docker images in compose file are x86_64.
speedtest-cli supports arm64 so it is possible to run on RPI but it requires some major changes in compose file to use arm64 variants of InfluxDB, Grafana images, and in docker file of speedtest-grafana image to build it for arm64.
