A wireless router (modem) for MTNL Broadband

Need one with decent range because the one MTNL has provided (480TC1) gives very weak signal at some corners of my house.

Please suggest. Budget not very high, but I won't mind spending a few extra bucks if I'm getting a good device.

Thank you.

Sorry for being a noob, but what is the range in meters of TP-Link W8968 and 480TC1 (The one I use right now)?

would depend upon a lot of factors but it should be massively better than the shit mtnl gave you. so if you are already getting 90% coverage in your home, any decent router should give you 150% coverage easy.

if you want to play it safe, you can get a router in the price range of Rs. 2500-3000 with better range. More antennas = better range.

It should considering that the last LAN port can act as a WAN port. Better to confirm it from someone using it on a cable ISP.
