so basically... the lady had aadhaar card but not the hard copy. the number alone should have been fine. but of course, in real world, things do not work as the government would like us to believe.
in any case, even though a policy made aadhaar number mandatory, it should have been negated with the supreme court order delaying the deadline to march 31.
