Let me summarize.
1.Do you have ISP license?
Ans. No
2.Are you going to be a cablewala of some ISP?
Ans. Yes , you will do the cabling work for Honesty Net Solutions(HNS)
3.I guess you have some copper/fiber/ANY infrastructure in place, which gives you an edge on the basis of which you claim to provide better Services than other Cable providers?
Ans. No Hayai don't have a single cable nowhere.We just have plans to purchase networks of cable providers.
He has invested nothing.I am pretty sure that he has no money to invest in infrastructure/license.
His master plan is feasible in only a single case.He accepts connection request from whole of Mumbai.Finds a small concentrated patch of requests, invests in creating a small copper based LAN there and takes Internet Connectivity from HNS.Then he receives installation money which can be used to create infra for another patch.
All those infinite and everlasting steps 2,3,4 he mentioned are dependent on the money he draws from users and if users do not apply in the order he wants them, then he along with all his users are ripped.And the trouble can be massive if he accepts connection fee from users and still does not provide connectivity in 15 days [IIRC, according to TRAI guidelines ], some user will go file a case against HNS for not providing connectivity and then HNS will fit a red light in his arse.
Be Real and Practical MG.All those users on this forum are intelligent enough to understand that.
1. That has been the case all along. The license was expected to be ready by now, but it wasn't. What am I supposed to do?
2. I suggest you read previous posts, as this is not accurate. We have fiber in place. But we are also buying up other networks in order to expand our reach as quickly as possible.
We are only buying existing copper - we are NOT building any new copper at all. If the house does not already have copper going in, then we will serve it with fiber.
As far as money is concerned, that's my business - I've invested a lot of money in it, as have several others. It would be stupid of me to, for example, put ALL of my assets on the line for this project, and I wouldn't ask the same of anybody else either. Financially speaking, we have quite considerable backing, and I survive quite happily as I've got my own money to sit on.
If we cannot provide a connection within a reasonable timeframe, then we will provide a refund. And if we don't do it voluntarily, the user may contact his bank and have them issue the refund on the basis that the product was never delivered. Such is the joy of electronic payments.
If you do not wish to believe anything I say, I actually don't really give a damn, because not only are you unlikely to become a customer for so many reasons, but you have proven to me on numerous occasions that you don't actually know much about what you're talking about. I have the people I need on my team to back me up from all facets, they are accomplished in their fields, separately (and on occasion, jointly) they have all managed to bring projects like this to fruition and more importantly, they've been more than willing to help and even in some cases pull strings to help us get there.
Basically it is imperative that we launch tomorrow itself - I can't miss it this time, and for those willing to dive in, I will be more than happy to prove to them that the concept is indeed sound, as are the parts of the networks which we've built. After all, nothing that we're doing is actually new. It's just new in India. That's all.
However, the proof will be in the pudding, and on our own infrastructure, I'm willing to provide a money back guarantee (subject to the usual T&C), on the copper networks I can't guarantee anything as if it goes down there's only so much I can do about it: if it's one we own, I can have it fixed or replaced. If it's one we don't own, I can harass the relevant people until it is fixed. Moreover, my area of residence is quite well known so anyone can easily come and find me if it turns out that I'm only doing this to screw everyone over (I'm not, but that's not the point I'm trying to express).
Unless and until you find a problem with our product (the prerequisite here being that you experience it for yourself), may I kindly request you to STFU. Despite whatever you may think about me or my products, the point is that I'm about to launch, you're not, and I've got a things to finish testing before I can complete that. Furthermore, unlike you, not only am I actively using my service as described to the public, I've already got 100% confirmed orders to the tune of several lakhs waiting to be processed by the subscription team. Not bad for the first day, but I'd better get to it. Thank you, and goodnight.

for the 100th time, when the government issues him? he does not control it. i thought most of us would already know it.
Admin bhai .........i ws just wanting to know whats the issue now with the ISP license?Is it going to be a very distant thing now as MGC seems to be content on piggy backing on HNS license(his original plan as we all remember).

and he has already indicated that he is paying a big price for using their license for the time being. he cannot rely on HNS for ever and i would imagine that he is as eager to get his own license as you guys are to get a hayai broadband connection? don't we all know how our government works?
