about Registration of new connection

what is the procedure for applying for BSNL home250 plan? Will just submitting the online registration form will do?(i m in noida) and in how many days should i expect my connection to be active? Is there anything negative abt home250 plan? like if i surf a lot(orkut, YM, forums) and download very little (just virus updates and some here and there) is 1GB limit sufficient?

it is better to apply in person . online registration may not be sufficient . if your BSNL exchange has the modems in stock and if empty ports areavailable then you can get new connection in a month . if you do regular voice chat then it would be better to go for Home 500 .
