ACT Broadband-Worst Service Ever

ACT broadband will be the best to you till they take your money. I have a new connection activated 5 days ago yet no internet connection while I continue to get billed. Read on.....

I took an ACT connection recently (50 mbps). They activated my connection on 1st September. Prior to activation I went out and bought a router and disconnected my other service provider. They promised from day 1 that someone would come and configure my router but no one did and I finally did it myself. I've had a working Internet connection for 30 min only since then. I have a yellow triangle error saying 'No Internet connection'. I've tried everything to fix it myself parallely. Since then I've called their customer service everyday. Everyday the calls have lasted more than 15 mins (it takes 10 mins just to get a person) and I've been told various things like fiber issues etc. I've checked with my neighbour till 5 mins ago and the connection is fine. It's my ip issue which I have been seeking support for 5 days and yet no one from act has helped me or visited me. I've paid for the connection, router, all the phone calls not to mention the waste of time and energy. It's been 5 days and I don't have Internet while I continue to get billed. Your people keep calling and promising to come. Then they dont answert there phone and dont show up. three days in a row I have sat at home waiting.
