ACT Tenda AC10 stuck in recovery mode – need ACT firmware (V1.0.8_multi)

Hi everyone,

I have an ACT-provided Tenda AC10 (AC1200) router which seems to be stuck in recovery mode after a firmware attempt.

Router details:

Model: Tenda AC10
FCC ID: V7TAC10
Original firmware version: V1.0.8_multi
Provided by: ACT Fibernet

Current behaviour:

  • Router powers on normally but SYS LED stays solid.
  • The router appears to be stuck in bootloader / recovery mode.
  • Bootloader responds at 192.168.1.6
  • The router accepts TFTP firmware upload and transfer completes successfully.
  • However, after the transfer the router does not reboot or boot the firmware.

Things I have already tried:

  • TFTP recovery (transfer successful)
  • Different firmware filenames (ac10.bin, firmware.bin)
  • Official Tenda firmware (AC10V1.0BR_V15.03.06.47)
  • Different recovery IP attempts

From the behaviour it seems the bootloader accepts the file but rejects it due to signature mismatch, which suggests this router may only accept ACT-signed firmware.

If anyone here:

  • Has the ACT firmware for Tenda AC10 (V1.0.8_multi)
  • Has a firmware backup/dump from the same ACT router
  • Knows a way to bypass the firmware signature check

please share the firmware or recovery steps.

Since the bootloader is still working and TFTP upload succeeds, I believe the router should be recoverable with the correct firmware.

Thanks in advance.
