Add On Pack (World Movies) cut off !! Server problem ??

I had many problems in getting the people to re-align/tune the dish (it is a story by itself but I will not go into all that now). Some how I managed to get it done and breathed a sigh of relief that now I can watch in peace. How wrong I was I didn't know then !!!In addition to the Regular Telugu basic pack I have also opted for world movies pack. On Sunday (14.11.10) some time in the afternoon the English Movies pack got cut off. I called the CC and the exec told me that server is down and I should call later in the day to register the complaint. I called again on Monday evening and CC/exec told me he has issued a REFRESH command and the channels will resume after 30 minutes. Nothing happenend ! Again I called them on Tuesday night and this time I was given a complaint number and the same charade of REFRESH command. Still NOTHING happened !! Unashamedly I called them again on Wednesday night and I was given another new complaint number and the well known REFRESH procedure. Now i became more intelligent (!!!) and asked him what is the status of my previous complaint. The exec says the previous complaint was about ON SCREEN ERROR (!!) on my STB. I asked him what it means and how it explains my non receipt of WM pack. He mumbles finally that the server is down and i should call him next day after waiting for another 12 minutes. (Very intelligent bugger !! All this discussion lasted 18 minutes.) As usual nothing happened after 12 minutes !!After all this I feel :1. There is something drastically gone wrong with SUN DTH servers and they are not giving proper information at all.2. The CC execs are telling shamelessly outright lies. 3. They even cut us off when they can not give a proper reply.4. They refuse to give the numbers of higher ups even when they themselves agree that the problem remains unresolved for such long time. Say they are not authorised to give and we can jolly go and &%^&*% ourselves.5. The CC has an excellent telephone system which will filter half the calls ! After getting the ring and going through the IVRS, select choice for ENGLISH and the line goes dead half the time. 90% of the other half time somebody will speak to me in Kannada and not in ENGLISH. The sad part is those fellows do not know Kannada either. Such a fantastic CC they run !!Unfortunately I am stuck with SUN upto Feb2011.(my basic pack lasts till then). After that date I am sure to throw that box. Anybody interested can come and pick it up though i would advise you not to.

your extremely wright lark... me too facing similar problem and kudos to whatever you said are frankly true... sundirect is THE WORST dth provider...my plan is also going to over by feb2011.. i am going to through in street after using till then... for sure nobody will pick it up as even the street wallas konw the uselessness of sun direct product...
