ADSL Disconnects every 5 mins - any suggestions?

Hi my Adsl line auto disconnects and reconnects every 5 mins from last 2 days. earlier it

was around 2-3 hrs disconnection. what can be the problem any suggestions..

attached here my adsl stats screenshot. pls have a look.

my phone line and adsl line are connected to a splitter properly and there is no noise

disturbance in phone line and i dont have a parallel phone.

i had given a complain the local line man came and said phone line is proper adsl problem

may be at server. what should i tell to mtnl technicians now what is the problem.

telephone exchange is Marol - Mumbai.
line on PPPOE mode using network card not usb.

even while i post this thread i got auto disconnect and reconnect twice its frustrating.
 
your phone line is nearly dead... complaint for a dead phone.
 
this is because your phone-line is getting disruptted somewhere.....
so contact your telephone-line men...........

:PI am getting problem with my broadband connection..i have 750 ul plus plan and today my speed is just 28kb/s.its horrible.......please help me......:confused:

Hi dead means? i am able to use my phone to talk to all clearly and there is no noise..

can u pls let me knw why u saying its dead is it becos of SNR around 10-11?
 
@member/karan123/With Download attn of 62 db and power output 0, still getting BB connection !1.Disconnect the phone from the splitter. and test again. for SNR/attn. 2.Inspect all junctions for rusting/oxidisation/blackening. same for rj11 cables.3.If there is a Box with Rj11 port ( with some electronic components mounted on a printed board) from Mtnl ahead OF SPLITTER remove it /BY PASS IT. 4.Use OpenDNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222.5. Check snr attn with phone lifted from cradle. 6. What is the ethernet card. have you updated the drivers ?Presume your modem is Ut300R2U.Feedback please.

just went and checkd the box where my telephone line is connected in building seems rusting is the problem.. will get the line men on monday and update if its fine then. thanks once again.

also ur SNR margin is low, it should be above 12 - 14..... asking them to reduce your speed should also help (if ur priority is of stability)
