Hello 2 everyone. There alot of topics about disconnection, but i can`t find solution to solve my problem, sorry for duplicate. I have BSNL DataOne Broadband internet (UL750 plan), GOA, calangute. Problem is: adsl disconnected every minute! At day time internet is working, maybe 2-3 disconnections per day. But from 6pm i have disconnects every 1-2 minutes for the last two weeks. ADSL signal on modem is blinking, after 10-15 sec its connected to internet. I have internet for the 30-50 seconds, then in ADSL signal off and its disconnecting. then again reconnecting, connectiong, 30 sec internet serfing, again disconnection. Sometimes it works good, but sometimes alot of disconnection. So it is not software\cache\DNS\RJ quality problem. What the problem i can`t understand. Whom i need to ask? Local telefone office, or BSNL office? Or i can do something? Tnx for help. If someone know what is the BSNL dataone broadband help line phone number in GOA pls tell me (to call from mobile, not 1-800-***) OS: Windows XP SP3, Vista (doesn`t metter, even if my comp is off the same problem on modem). 1.post your modem details.
2.Check adsl settings page and check snr/attn/line speed mod selected. . Post screen shot.
3. Try to select GDMT in the modem.
4. Telephone junction ===Rj11== adsl splitter LINE.
Adsl splitter MODEM port Rj11 to ===>>> modem===RJ45 ==>>. computer
Adsl Splitter PHONE port ==== Rj11 ===>>> ALL PHONES
If any parallel phone connections use additional ADSL splitter for PHONES only.

Para two:But from 6pm i have disconnects every 1-2 minutes for the last two weeks.
Any changes electrical in the house . or in neighbourhood ?

essbebe:

1) whick details? Wan settings already posted, will do again, see screenshot

2) in ADSL window there is no snr/attn/line settings... nowhere (see scr)

3) will try when evening disconnections comes again (now everything ok)

4) I was trying tel line - splitter - modem, also tel line - modem. Both without telephone connected, both the same result. no parralel phones, no phones total (i dont use it and unplug it).

5) Electrical is ok, as everywhere in India.

Tnx for reply.

You have yet not replied ur model no.
Anyways, on the modulation type as seen in ur screen shot, instead of using adsl2+ type, try using all other types. First i had the same problem when i was using in adsl2+ type, then i started using in G.DMT type, and then i never had the problem. You can try different types available on ur modem.

Modem model, as i already wrote: Dataone Starcom UT-300R2U

I tryed each modulation type, but still no results. Now working good, but yesterday from 9pm till morning - disconnections every minute.

5. same power failures/fluctuations/low voltage ?!!!!!.

I dont think that it is power problem. Two reason: power everytimes bad, doesnt matter at evening or at morning. Second: i connect my modem to APC battery and with good quality net filters - same result.

@ETO1.uncheck/delete all other vpi/vci entries. retaining only BSNL 0_35.2.What is the distance from the exchange ? Your house/flat. 3.Attenuation level 35 can be tolerated , but should become lower. AND SNR INCREASE. ( first screen shot )Check cables for rusting/ corrosion etc.4.Change over time for modem varies . less than 25 milliseconds ( from power off to standby)recommended.5.Try OPENDNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.2226. Post screen shot of modem page where you selected diff mod types.

to essbebe:

1) done
2) distance from exchange to my flat is around 20-25 meters
3) done. I had check the cables, and also change one cable to other one. But it is strange if at day time cable is ok, but at evening time its become dirty or damaged...
4) Where to change it?
5) done

3. cable contacts getting wet etc. GOA being a coastal area humidity can be high.4. Change over time in UPS: depends on the make. No adjustments possible.6. Mod selected. all screenshots show Gdmt. ( not much improvement ) except last one T413 which appears the best. Try this setting.Para two: OS Windows XP SP3, Vista modem UT300R2U7.In Vista IPV6 has to be disabled in TCP/IP properties. 8.Post Ipconfig/all for setup using XP SP3 for any other tweak.
