ADSL2+ Wireless router (modem & router)

Has anyone with an Airtel connection tried using a ADSL2+ Wireless router (basically a ADSL2+ modem and a wireless router, both in one)

Has anyone tried it? Does it cause problems?
Am i better off using a wireless router with the 220BX modem?

Welcome to Broadbandforum.
1.If you have purchased the Beetel modem from Airtel, only a WI-Fi router from Netgear/D-Link/Linksys/buffalo/ will do.
2.If not rent a Beetel Wireless router from them.
3.If you intend to add more Fixed desktops check Ports availability. usually 4 Lan ports+ Wireless provided.
4.If All in One unit, if there is problem you loose Internet connection.

5.Check for VIsta compatibility any modem/router. and also other models in Netgear web site.

Yeah i was thinking along the same lines.Anyway can you or anyone else recommend a wireless router?I'm thinking Linksys would be best or Netgear. Which have you guys had a better experience with?

Depending on the cost start with Netgear /Linksys/D-Link/buffalo
Again if your OS is Vista check compatability also.
