Air conditioner suggestion daikin or voltas

I am looking to buy a 1 ton AC and have shortlisted some models.

(4 star energy rating 2022 model) Daikin website shows 5 yr PCB warranty and 10 yr compressor. On croma I guess warranty listed is wrong for this AC. (I am not sure if warranty will be void incase I don't get maintenance done regularly by Daikin authorized centers)

(5 star rating 2021 model) .Voltas is offering adjustable ton which I guess could be useful. But warranty is 1yr normal and 10yr on compressor. Somewhere I read PCB is most important for inverter AC. Tatacliq is offering extended warranty (10services included) for 5k

Samsung is also offering adjustable ton but I don't know if their ACs are good and warranty is also same like tata 1yr + 10yr on compressor. No details about extended warranty from manufacturer.

I almost paid for the Daikin one but last year also I got a Daikin AC and was not happy with the installation charges and service quality. I was lucky to get copper pipe with product but their was no pm 2.5 filter as advertised I didn't complained to not waste my time. Also no drilling in wall (for pipes) was required still had to pay about 2.5k The quality of work was very unprofessional, no proper tools and they created a huge mess.

Technology wise which is better Daikin or voltas and how much difference it makes in real world usage?

What difference can we expect from a 3 star AC compared to a 5 star ac ( 1.5 ton running 8 hours a day for 6 months) in terms of electricity consumption ?

It would be difficult to calculate, but yes on an inverter series there will be savings on both 3* and 5*, with higher savings on the latter. If cost is an issue, you can opt for 4*. Gives best of both worlds, efficiency and affordability.

If you will see the spec, it will have what is the unit consumption on running x number of hours in an year. You can calculate on that basis. Also, consumption depends on a lot of factors, like room size, walls facing sun light and even the temperature preferences you have.

At Croma we were told v frankly that a 5 star rating is worth it only for commercial establishments which run for v long hours, for homes it seems 4 star rating is good enough.

I recently have noticed an unusual behavior in the refrigerant flow in my (Voltas SAC 1.5 TON 5 STAR 185V VERTIS EMERALD). The discharge pipe (small diameter copper pipe) is noticeably colder to the touch compared to the suction pipe (large diameter copper pipe) during operation. Can you guys clarify whether this is a normal characteristic of my AC model or if it indicates a potential issue with the refrigerant flow.
Actually, both the pipes are getting cold and condensation around it, but the discharge is colder to touch. If you guys have easy access to the ODU, can you inspect the same on your end and report it back here.

@Spectra this seems to be symptom of your filters requiring cleaning maybe also full wet service of both indoor/outdoor units. - as far as I remember what service guys told me about my ACs (old Hitachi split now replaced with a Daikin split).

I don't think so because I serviced it last month with pressure washer.
See here is the deal with air conditioners. The discharge pipe handles high pressure liquid refrigerant, and the suction pipe has low pressure refrigerant gas. So high pressure compressed liquid should be relatively hotter than low pressure gas.
Can you check physically if ODU is easily accessible. If this is the case for Daikin too then there is nothing to be worried about.
