Airtel technician just told me that they have a 8Mbps Unlimited plan but it costs Rs. 2,80,000 a month!!!

airtel these days gives arnd 100+ speed after 11pm on 128 kbps connection

I was using 1999 ul 512 earlier and use to get max of 50 to 52 kBps. I shifted to ul 999 256 kbps this month with night double plan and i get speed between 60 to 70 kBps during night. Can someone who is on 512 @ 1499 ul plan confirm what speed they are getting. i mean is it upto 512 kbps or minimum of 512 kbps.

Well the 'salesman' who called claimed that it was minimum 512kbps, and so far it has been such for me. But I would take all that with a pinch of salt. As long as you get above 58KB/s or so, I think one should be happy.
