Airtel 3G Launched in Chennai and Coimbatore

HI guys,I am from chennai . i havent activated 3g on my airtel but when connected my phone Galaxy s to pc via 2g network i am getting speed of max 4 mbps to 2 mbp and data transfer deducted from the 2g gprs plan of rupeess 98............wat about others

For me also data transfer is deducted from 2g gprs plan... but activated 3G

obviously it means 3G has been activated. Look out for 3G or H symbol at the top, 2G will never get these sorta speeds!

H stands for HSDPA, High-Speed Downlink Packet Access

Its nothing but 3G
