They will have to do this in other circles also if they want to retain their existing customers.

well the thing is that for them to offer 3g services on other company's networks, they would have to provide their own network to the other service providers. and i doubt that any company would rent out their network to a rival company before launching their own services on that network. that is why i don't think such collaborative deals are likely to materialize in the coming weeks. do you really think airtel would be able to offer 3g services on idea network before idea launches their own 3g services in the same circle?

I think you are right.
First Idea will launch it's own 3G services in a particular circle and then think of sharing it with another company.
We have still not seen the launch of Idea 3G in Punjab nor have we seen any advts promoting it yet.

I think you are right.
First Idea will launch it's own 3G services in a particular circle and then think of sharing it with another company.

Tday i had given request for mnp immediately i got a call from cc saying that they will launch 3G in kerala by 29.06.2011 with an tie up with idea ... is that true..?

ITS ABSOLUTLY FALSE! operators in non 3G circle have been telling their customer that services would be launched but the day will never come. i have hearing vodafone telling 3G launch since 4 months, till today never launched.
