Airtel 3G Signal in Bangalore

My mobile was able to detect Airtel 3G signal in Bangalore..

I tried at JP Nagar and Marathahalli. Available at both places.

I got the 3G signal on Hennur main road, Bangalore today(14th November). I could not connect to it. ~Gopichand Pai

I got a signal in JP Nagar 6th Phase. When i tried to select Airtel 3G n/w got an error as "No Access"

well am here in kerala !! and today morning i too saw airtel showing signal under umts mode !! Shocked airtel aint have spectrum in Kerala circle, but soon after few minutes the signal vanished may be 15 minutes !! so times to cheer up if airtel 3g is here in Kerala too !! but prices will kill the desire (hoping that wont be true !! but it is same as docomo !! money earning machine for them)

As far as I can tell, Airtel is still far from launching....maybe during Christmas time. I do not see their UMTS signal in some of the core areas..which means they still need lot of work to do.

I could see Airtel(should I say 'airtel') 3G singal in Old Madras Road/Pai Layout too. but, as usual 'No Access' error pops up when try to register to that network.

I see Airtel 3G signal pretty much all the places I travel in Bangalore. They should be launching 3G anytime now...probably by Dec mid or so
