Airtel 4G Bangalore

Guys, has anyone tried the Airtel 4G network in Bangalore (on the mobile SIM)?

I received a new 4G SIM from Airtel today. Thinking of trying it out but considering how pathetic their 3G network was I just want to double check before I try it out. How is the network service and does the internet actually work? I'm more bothered about the network being present rather than the speeds considering what a piece of shit their 3G was.

Well, I occasionally use Airtel 4G dongle given by my employer to connect from home. I get all the signal bars near the window at my home but as soon as I move into the other part of the home, the signal starts to dip.

I would suggest you to borrow the device from someone and test it at your home. DO NOT rely the speeds given by the demo team from there device.

Okay I meant on the mobile phone. We normally get 2G access even if we've paid for 3G because the 3G network is so pathetic. I was wondering how their mobile 4G network is.

Currently, Airtel is giving a free upgrade to everyone to 4G.
