Airtel 4G giving low speeds inside my home walls

When I contacted a mobile operator they suggested me to pay for the equipment and they will just sanction it. He said as long as the company sanctions it it is legal even if I purchase my own equipment.

Which operator can you let me know? I asked jio and they did not had much idea about it

@igloo Did you get signal booster approved by the telco ?
I'm asking because unapproved signal boosters are illegal.

unapproved one and i am not using it now.
My neighbors here and there also using unapproved one sold by local sellers here and they are costly too.
