Airtel 4G Huawei E3272, is not detected in windows 8.1

HI guys
I recently purchased Airtel 4G Huawei E3272 Modem,
In windows 7, the hard ware is detected perfectly everytime when I insert in any of the USB ports
But in Windows 8.1 Pro, if I insert its not detected anytime,
only on some occassion like, I restart the os having the device plugged in the USB and it detects, also its not always guaranteed it is detected
Can anyone help me on this regard.

I tried this step mentioned by a Huawei representative, and it worked for me.
Make sure you plugin the data card and you see the Mobile Broadband connection in the wireless connections list before you run the below installer.
This basically installs the airtel launcher menu that was not getting launched through the card as it should.

E3272Update_21.470.05.02.284
NEW TA software E3272 support win.8.1
2- Upload in data card.
3- Data card Power reset and use it in laptop.

PS: if the first link doesnt work, go to google's cached page - that's what I did.
You should be able to see the file mentioned (in bold).

However, when I run the application it asks for password, do you know where to get the password from?

Someone please upload E3272Update_21.470.05.02.284-New TA.
Huawei site is down... it always gives error 403.
